KOR12 end of the season

This past weekend we had our final KOR battle for the 2010 season.

This matchup was between strong contender Reeves and current Lord (and almost Emperor) Rado.


Rado won the RPS and started off the match with this switch pivot fakie. Reeves handled that shit no prob.

I didn't even bother taking a picture of Rado's next trick since he has probably done it in every KOR game and lets just say he's gotten enough coverage front feebling down the rail. Reeves did a 5050 instead earning his first letter (Reeves = S. Rado = ).


There were a couple turn swaps before Lord Rado managed to pull out this smith pop over on the bump to bar. Reeves almost lipslide the rail instead (Reeves = S.K Rado = ).


Lord Rado took another swing with this nollie inward heel over the hip. Rado's swing connected giving Reeves another letter (Reeves = S.K.A Rado = ).


Following the swing with a jab of a back 180 switch 5050. This move also connected with Reeves face providing him with his fourth letter (Reeves = S.K.A.T Rado = ).


Going for it!


Never seen this one before...YAWN...


AND REEVES misses it! Reeves earns his final letter and helps launch Rado's ego into the stratosphere by bumping him up to Emperor status (Reeves = S.K.A.T.E Rado = ).

Well this 2010 season ended with a bang. Rado adds another shut out along with the longest time frame and most consecutive wins to his resume. Congrats Emperor Rado, we'll see you in the circuit next year. Or will we...?

Two days in a row?!?!


Todays matchup brings in heavy contender The Goose. Lord Rado wins the RPS with Shit/Ref presiding over the match.


Rado starts off with his go to Krooks on the rail.


Goose wasn't about to let some basic move get him a letter and stomped that shit no problem.


Rado blew his next trick attempt and Goose came right in with this switch blunt fs in on the mini quarter that he just learned today. To bad for The Goose, Lord Rado wasn't ready to get a letter yet and pulled that shit too.


The Goose proceeded to miss a bigspin on the dome allowing Rado to set this fs tailslide down the hubba. The Goose gave it a golden effort but couldn't quite make it (The Goose = S. , Rado = ).


Rado came through with this mini wallride for his next move. Once again The Goose couldn't pull it off and got himself another letter (The Goose = S.K. , Rado = ).


Lord Rado keeping it cutthroat with this 360 flip on flat. Goose wanted it but didn't quite get it (The Goose = S.K.A., Rado = ).


Seriously right for the throat... Rado with wallride number two. Goose stuck this one but tumbled off his board putting him one letter away from elimination and putting Lord Rado almost one win closer to Emperor status (The Goose = S.K.A.T., Rado = ).


We all know at this point that The Goose is down, and like a true ruthless ruler Lord Rado went right for the death blow with this boardslide to feeble. Goose gave it two solid attempts but ended up getting his last letter and putting Rado only one win away from Emperor status (The Goose = S.K.A.T.E, Rado = ).


Here is your first ever 4 time consecutive winner Lord Rado! Lord Rado is making quite a name for himself in the KOR circuit and is only one win away from being the first Emperor. He also is the second contender next to The Goose to have a shutout game! The Goose, furious with this outcome commented at the end, "That was bullshit." After Lord Rado's last two performances I am beginning to wonder if anyone else in the circuit is cutthroat enough to dethrone this bloodthirsty King.

KOR 10

Today's match up was a big battle for both of the contenders. While King Rado is only one win away from earning Lord status, new contender Adam Howard looks to claim his first win in the KOR circuit, even going so far as to exclaim, "I'm probably gonna lose."


Rado wins the RPS. Is Adam already screwed?


First trick was this royal wallride.


Adam just ran into the wall (Adam = S. , Rado = ).


King Rado coming in hot with a feeble down the hubba.


Adam almost slid this boardslide... (Adam = S.K. , Rado = ).


King Rado has to make sure to get his front feeble fix in for every match.

The Ref called a redo on Rados next trick, and he messed up again allowing Adam to set this sponsored gap to tailslide.


Rado isn't sponsored (Adam = S.K.A. , Rado = S.).


Adam missed his next trick attempt and Rado satisfied his other addiction with this krooks on the rail.


Adam almost had it, but no cigar. King Rado is now only one trick away from being elevated to Lord status, can he do it (Adam = S.K.A.T. , Rado = S.)???

Here is our second ever King to make it to Lord status with three consecutive wins, Rado! Rado was just shaking off that nap of a victory he just casually coasted through while Adam shows off his sportsmanship. KOR 9

After an extended absence due to trips, injuries and laziness the KOR circuit is finally back on track.


This match brought a new contender into the KOR circuit, all the way from KZOO, Anthony! To bad for The Kings challenger though the RPS went in The Kings favor. Former Lord Goose presides as the Ref.


After starting off with a pointless 5-0 fakie on the mini quarter that Anthony handled effortlessly, Rado jumped back into his typical moves with this front feeble down the rail. Anthony totally tried it but didn't quite get it (Anthony = S. , Rado = ).


Rado continued his gnar dog assault with this tailslide to fakie down the hubba. Anthony just barley slipped out earning him another letter (Anthony = S.K. , Rado = ).


It wouldn't be a KOR match without someone doing a feeble grind on the cement quarter... Rado feeble to fakie.


Anthony landed it... surprise surprise...


Rado decided to go back to his raildoggieness with this bump to smith pop over. Anthony pulled off a smooth bump to smith grind but failed to pull the pop over. After much debate with the contenders and the Ref it was decided (A KOR first) that he would get half a letter (Anthony = S.K.(1/2A). , Rado = ).


King Rado dug back into his roots for this wallride, which he managed to land despite Anthony's attempted interference (Threw his can at Rado mid attempt).


Anthony totally had it, but no cigar. This match is looking like it's about to be a blow out (Anthony = S.K.A.(1/2T). , Rado = ).


King Rado next did what he does best and balanced on his nose up and then back down the manual pad. Anthony made it up before slamming his body into the ground (Anthony = S.K.A.T(1/2E) , Rado = ).


Since Anthony only needed another half a letter to be extinguished, King Rado started being an idiot and ollied off of this thing...


Anthony landed it. YAWN.


Rado next set a fakie heel on flat, but Anthony is no stranger to the fakie heels and pulled it with steeeeze.


Now I personally wanted this match to be over with but unfortunately King Rado totally blew it and gave Anthony a chance to set this fs wallie off the bank to ledge. Rado landed it.


Anthony took his next move into the bowl with this fs slash on the pool coping. Rado blew it and finally got on the score boards (Anthony = S.K.A.T(1/2E) , Rado = S.).


Anthony moved right over the this cement quarter with this lien to tail. Rado blew it and stacked himself another letter (Anthony = S.K.A.T(1/2E) , Rado = S.K.).


Next Anthony blasted this ollie over the 4 stairs rail. Do we have a potential comeback on our hands!??!


Aw too bad for Anthony Rado pulled it.


Anthony proceeded to get all weird with this double bank ride up to tailslide.


Oh whaddayaknow Rado pulled it.


Anthony next decided to bust this bs 180 out of the bank over the trashcan.


Rado pulled this too. Can anything stop this Riley loving beast of a King?!?


Anthony messed up allowing The King to go back on offense. King Rado took this chance to do a little dance jig up over the mini qp hip.


Anthony pulled it, though not with quite the same finesse.


There was another turn swap that allowed Anthony to get even more ridiculous with this noseslide in the middle of the whale.


Try as he might it would appear that even King Rado has some weaknesses as he missed this whale style noseslide (Anthony = S.K.A.T(1/2E) , Rado = S.K.A.).


Anthony also took advantage of the flat ground rule and managed to bust out this nollie hardflip despite some squirlly sketchness.


The Ref wasn't having it and gave the signal for a redo.


So Anthony pulled it again. Casual.


Rado body slammed the ground thinking it was the same as a nollie hardflip. His mistake earned him another letter and now it is starting to look like the King could be dethroned! (Anthony = S.K.A.T(1/2E) , Rado = S.K.A.T.).


Anthony fumbled his turn in his next outrageous trick attempt allowing King Rado to do what any animal does when backed into a corner, his last resort 'The Krooks'. Anthony mashed through it but couldn't quite stick it earning him his final half letter plus an additional half letter of disgrace (Anthony = S.K.A.T.E.(Additional half letter of disgrace) , Rado = S.K.A.T.).


Here is your two time King, King Rado! Will he go on to be the second King to meet Lord status? Will he be the first to go beyond Lord status? Only time will tell.

P.S. There are a couple of additional rules that are being added to the KOR circuit. All Kings must partake in at least 1 battle every 1-2 weeks depending on the Directors discretion. Any King who avoids his Kingdom (Riley) for extended periods of time without good excuse, will be stripped of his crown so the circuit can continue. If the King is at Riley and a challenge is issued without the Director being present, a simple text message or call to the Director will suffice for a battle to take place, and the Director can approve or deny.
